Baba Jai Gurudeo

Whenever civilization is threatened by moral and spiritual decay, the Divine Messengers appear on our planet to give spiritual lead to the mankind by their own exemplary living. We are fortunate to have such a August personality living in our own time in the form of "PARAM SANT SWAMI TULSIDAS JI MAHARAJ", popularly known as BABA JAIGURUDEO all over the country. A living embodiment of simplicity, loving kindness and profound spirituality inherited from his peerless MASTER SAINT GHURELAL JI MAHARAJ of village Chirauli in district Aligarh. Baba Jai Gurudeo was born in a small village in Uttar Pradesh and is presently residing at his Ashram in Mathura of U.P. State in India. 

His quest for a perfect Guru started at a very tender age of six when he renounced the world forever. He searched for a perfect spiritual master for years. Finally his search ended with his Guru Swami Ghurelalji Maharaj, who initiated him towards the achievement of highest order of divinity. Baba Jai Gurudeo with his intense urge to seek the Divine, followed and practised the path as guided by his Master Guru. His urge was so intense that in no time he could find the Ultimate to his full satisfaction.

Baba Jai Gurudeo is the founder and head of the religious organisation namely "JAI GURUDEO DHARAM PRACHARAK SANSTHA". The Ashram of Baba Jai Gurudeo is located on Delhi-Agra highway and is spread in several acres of land. The office of this organisation is located in the Ashram. The organisation is running a school where free education is provided to poor and needy children, free dispensary for medical treatment and various other charitable programmes besides construction of a huge temple.

Besides various spiritualfunctions which are held at the Ashram, one annual function "BHANDARA" is organised in the memory of his Master Guru Sant Ghurelalji Maharaj, which is attended by lakhs of devotees and piligrims. 

Since 1952, Baba Jai Gurudeo has been propagating "THE SANT MAT" which is the practical part of self realisation. The inner sound current "Shabd" is the essence of Sant Mat, which detatches one from worldly associations and pleasures and turns our attention within.

The spirituality is the knowledge of soul and God. For this it is essential to have a perfect living master who has attained the spiritual knowledge and can also impart the same to others.

The need is to come in contact with such a master, learn the technique from him, carry out spiritual practices with ceaseless persistance and unshakeable faith and thus return home, and merge into the ocean of which the soul is a drop. The soul is a spark of our Divine Lord.

This whole process calls for no change in religion, no different garments. Anybody, young and old, can practice and follow this path. This is the key to God realization. 
Baba Jai Gurudeo, one of the most widely known Saint, has lucidly dealt with these points in his discourses. They are so penetrating in thoughts, so profound and rich in spirituality, that they go straight in the heart of earnest seeker.
